The available OEM alternators for the 1FZ-FE (4.5L gasoline) engine are rated up to 80 Amps and only produce 60 Amps at idle. This heavy-duty 220 Amp – Toyota 1FZ-FE alternator generates a maximum of 200 Amps at normal driving speeds and produces 190 Amps at idle. With this alternator, you are gaining 140 Amps at idle and up to 190 Amps at cruising speeds.
